1. Zero Mandatory Registration

IndianTimers does not require you to create an account, enter an email address, or provide a mobile phone number to access countdowns, study timers, or mock test tools. We believe essential student productivity tools should be immediately accessible without friction.

2. Local Browser Storage Only

When you bookmark a favorite exam, configure a custom deadline, or log a Pomodoro focus interval, this data is saved exclusively inside your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your own device.

  • Your saved exams are never sent to external servers.
  • Your study durations and daily focus hours remain solely on your device.
  • You can export all your data in JSON format or wipe it with one click on the Personal Dashboard.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We do not use invasive third-party cross-site tracking cookies. If privacy-friendly aggregate analytics are deployed in the future, they will track solely non-personally identifiable page visits to measure site performance and Core Web Vitals.

4. Browser Audio & Wake Lock Permissions

- Audio Alerts: Synthesized purely via the Web Audio API on your machine; no external audio files are tracked or downloaded.
- Screen Wake Lock: Used only while a focus timer is running to prevent your phone screen from sleeping during study sessions. Released immediately upon pausing or completing the session.
