The 200-Minute Exam Structure

Since 2022, NTA provides **200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes)** for 200 questions, allowing candidates to attempt 180 questions across:

- **Physics**: 35 (Section A) + 15 (Section B, attempt 10) = 45 Questions (180 Marks) - **Chemistry**: 35 (Section A) + 15 (Section B, attempt 10) = 45 Questions (180 Marks) - **Biology (Botany & Zoology)**: 70 (Section A) + 30 (Section B, attempt 20) = 90 Questions (360 Marks)

---

Time Allocation Recommendations

1. **Biology (90 Questions)**: 45–50 minutes. Because NCERT questions are largely factual, solving 2 questions per minute is achievable.

2. **Chemistry (45 Questions)**: 45–50 minutes. Tackle Organic & Inorganic swiftly, reserving time for Physical numerical calculations. 3. **Physics (45 Questions)**: 65–70 minutes. Requires extensive multi-step computations and unit conversions. 4. **OMR Bubble Filling & Re-check Buffer**: 20–25 minutes. Never leave bubble filling until the final 10 minutes.
